ALTHOUGH WE WILL HAVE NEW
START AND FINISH AREAS,
THE MAJORITY OF THE COURSE REMAINS AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS.........
We apologise for the change of venue and route for
this our Olympic year race, but our HQ has building work ongoing so
we have had to move the HQ and start, hence we cannot now offer
showers, etc.
The race will have a new start and finish area, and partly a new
route (how exciting!) and we are hoping to negotiate with the Ranger
to block book the parking fee at the HQ.
However, at this stage parking fees may apply at the Country Park.

"It's tough, slippery but a real challenge and a great sense of achievement in finishing"
It has a challenging 15 mile, multi-terrain course,
incorporating sections of the Canvey Island sea wall, and
the undulating Hadleigh Downs, therefore it is not suitable for spikes or
wheelchair competitors.
"If you can get through this, you can do almost anything"
As there is a small section of road in the middle we do not recommend spikes
