RESULTS

Apologies for the delay in producing the results,

but as the children competed in the Long Jump, and not the Standing Long Jump

the START, and PRIMARY points were incorrect. Placings were not affected.

We will be also tie-in the Aviva Awards Scheme to present medals and certificates to the children who achieve the required standards.

Each time/distance for the 4 events yields a points score, and the aggregate 4 event total is the Quadrathlon score.

The events will be organised by age group (all dependant upon entry numbers)

• Includes the four core disciplines of running, throwing, jumping and sprinting - hence 'Quad'

• Athletes' performances are scored against results tables and the team with the highest cumulative points is the winner

• It requires a minimum of equipment; Stopwatch, measuring tape, standing long jump mat, 75m & 600m markers, and Vortex Howler throwing implement.
