MESSAGE FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS

As some of you may have seen, we are changing the HQ venue for the 2012 race, due to bulding works at the school.

The majority of the race route will be as in previous years, with a few changes.

HQ is now Hadleigh Country Park, and the race start/finish area will be similar to our Cross Country Races.

As ever, we need Marshalls to ensure the safety of the runners and to help manage the traffic and runners that enable the race to go ahead

and are looking for volunteers to help out on the day.

PLEASE REMEMBER it is this event that keeps the club financially viable and maintains the membership fees at their current level, and we need your support.

Please confirm to Bobby as soon as possible if you are willing to repeat your role as marshall. 

Please bear in mind some marshalls positions will change, due to the route amendment.

This will generally take only a few hours of your time and is your chance to contribute to the successful running of the event and the club itself so if you could help out we would be very grateful.

As most of you will be aware, as club members, if you wish to participate in the race, you are obliged to provide a substitute Marshall.

All members have the chance to run the course route on the Saturday morning, as part of the Marshalls run.
